Exam on 14th Postponed in the light of the Declared Hartal

ഡിസംബർ 14 നു നടത്താനിരുന്ന അർദ്ധവാർഷിക പരീക്ഷ മാറ്റി വച്ചിരിയ്ക്കുന്നു . പുതുക്കിയ തിയതി പിന്നീട് അറിയിക്കുന്നതാണ് 

Half Yearly Exam on 11th Postponed

       The Half Yearly Exam scheduled on 11th December, 2018 is postponed to 21st December with the same time Table. Other exams will be conducted as per the fixed schedule. 11th December is a regular working day as per the circular No EX.IX-2/23747/HSE/2017 of the Joint Director, Exams dated 10th December, 2018.

Say No to Drugs

An anti drug awareness class was organised in our school on 25th October 2018. Sri. Benny Sebastian, Anti Narcotic Awareness Cell, Excise Department, Kerala has taken a much thought inductive class. This is an initiative by The Kerala Bharat Scouts and Guides Unit of our school. Smt. Biny Zen, the Guides Master welcomed the gathering. Principal Sr, Rani Njavallil was present on the occasion

Career Orientation Class

A career orientation was conducted at our school on 25th October 2018. It was organised in joint collaboration with the Kerala State Employment Exchange. The State Resource person Sri. Ratheesh Kumar lead the classes. Smt. Dhanalakshmi Ammal- District Vocational Guidance  Officer, Sri. Gopakumar , Junior Employment officer, Sri. Baiju P A- Senior clerk were present on the occasion. Principal Sr Rani Njavallil, Sri Devasia A J , Smt. Biny Zen, Guides Master were also present on the occasion.It was a very useful session for the students 

District Athletic Meet ...our athletes bringing laurels ...Overall Runners up

Our athletes have brought laurels to the school by scoring 102 points and many medals in the Kottayam Revenue District Athletic Meet held at the Municipal Stadium, Pala. Their effort has placed the school as the overall runners up in a neck and tie competition and brought our sub district as the overall champions. Socius 2018

An exhibition 'Socius 2018' is organised by the department of Sociology on 16th October. The programme was inaugurated by the Principal Sr. Rani Njavallil. Students in the Humanities group were the organizers. Together with the principal, Miss Shancy was the mastermind behind this venture.

Cleaning Campaign by the GUIDES

A cleaning campaign to clean the premises of Civil Station, Pala was organised by The Kerala Bharat Scouts and Guides Unit of our school in connection with Gandhi Jayanthi 2018

Road Safety Awareness

Accidents are on the mount. A lot of people are getting killed on the roads everyday. 'Catch younger' is an ideal motto. The guiding unit of St Mary's HSS Pala has organised a road safety awareness class to make the youngsters aware of the need for road safety. The youth can surely effect a change. Sri. Binoy Joseph, Community Relations Officer from Pala Police Station has lead the class. It was thought inductive and motivational. Thanks a lot to Binoy sir and the Department of Police

World Hand Washing day

The world Hand Washing Day was observed in St Mary's GHSS Pala. The state wide campaign was inaugurated by Sri. Jose K Mani MP. The programme was an initiative by the Rotary Club. Cine Artist  and the former student of the school Miya George  addressed the gathering as the brand ambassador of the campaign. Dr. Omana Thomas demonstrated to the students how to wash and clean the hands systematically. The mission is to spread the message through school children. Lion's District Governor and other office bearers were present on the occasion.
